Drippy (the “app”), operated by Risoris Group LLC, helps you get dressed in seconds by styling outfits from your own wardrobe. We built it to be useful without harvesting your life. This policy explains, in plain language, what leaves your phone, why, and the control you have.
Drippy is built to keep your data on your device. The only information that leaves your phone is what a specific feature needs to function, and it is never linked to your identity.
When you add a garment by taking a photo or choosing one from your library, that single image is sent to our processing provider to detect attributes like the item’s type, color, and pattern so Drippy can catalog it. The processing provider returns those attributes and does not use your images to train its models. Your photos are stored only on your device; we do not keep a copy on our servers.
When Drippy styles a look, it sends text descriptions of your items (like “navy crew tee, slim”), the occasion, the weather, and the style settings you chose — your vibes, favorite colors, and any dress rules you turned on — to the same processing provider to generate a suggestion. It does not send your photos or your name. The result comes back to your device.
To dress you for the day, Drippy fetches the local forecast. It derives your approximate location from your device’s IP address (via geojs.io) and then requests the forecast for that area (via open-meteo.com). Drippy does not use GPS or precise location, and this coarse location is not stored or linked to you.
If you tap “Match to my calendar” and grant permission, Drippy reads today’s events to guess the right occasion to dress for (e.g. a workout vs. a meeting). This happens on your device — your event titles and details are not sent off the phone. You can revoke calendar access anytime in iOS Settings.
Drippy asks for camera or photo-library access only when you choose to add a piece. It uses the image you pick for the purpose in Section 1 and nothing else.
We do not sell your data. The only parties that ever receive data are the service providers that power the features above, acting on our behalf:
geojs.io) — maps your IP address to an approximate area for weather.open-meteo.com) — returns the local forecast for that area.Because your closet lives on your device, you control it. Use “Reset closet” in Settings to erase your pieces along with your saved fits, planned days, and what you’ve worn — or delete the app to remove all Drippy data from your phone. Requests sent to the providers above are processed transiently to return a result and are not retained by us.
Drippy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Since Drippy holds no account and stores your data on your own device, you can view, change, or delete everything from within the app at any time. If you have questions about your data or this policy, contact us below.
If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note it in the app.
