Craft over volume
We would rather ship one thing that's genuinely well-made than five that are merely fine. Restraint is a feature.
We design and build considered digital products — the kind that make a hard thing suddenly feel easy. A small, independent studio with a long view.
We believe good software feels like less — fewer steps, less friction, less to think about — while doing more underneath.
Risoris Group is a software studio. We work quietly on a small number of products at a time, giving each one the attention it deserves. We care about the parts most people never see — the architecture, the edge cases, the half-second that makes something feel effortless.
We're deliberately unhurried. Rather than chase every trend, we build things meant to hold up: clear in their purpose, honest in what they promise, and pleasant to return to. That patience is the whole point.
What we're making now, we're keeping close for the moment. But the standard is fixed — and when the work is ready, it will speak for itself.
However the work changes, the way we work stays steady. These are the commitments underneath everything that carries the Risoris name.
We would rather ship one thing that's genuinely well-made than five that are merely fine. Restraint is a feature.
Clean foundations, sound engineering, and decisions that still make sense a year later. We optimize for the long run.
Every screen should respect your attention. If a feature needs a manual, we haven't finished designing it yet.
Risor, risōris — Latin for “the one who smiles.” From the same root comes the risorius, the small facial muscle that draws the corners of the mouth into a smile.
It's a fitting name for what we're after. The best software earns that quiet, involuntary reaction — the moment something you dreaded turns out to be simple. That's the work. That's the whole idea behind Risoris.
We keep our work close until it's ready. Three are on the App Store; the fourth answers the phone for small businesses.
A product about momentum — turning where you want to go into what you do next. Out now for iPhone.
Explore TrajectoryGet dressed in seconds. It reads your day and your closet, then hands you an outfit that just works.
Explore DrippyFill up now, or wait? One word on one screen, from public fuel price data — and it stays quiet when it doesn't know.
Explore FuelcastA receptionist that answers the phone while your hands are full — books the appointment, says what it costs, and never invents a time.
Explore ThundercallerWhether it's a partnership, a question, or a project you can't stop thinking about — we'd like to hear it.
